Conte Please Morata Not Serious Injury
After Chelsea suffered a 1-0 defeat against Manchester City last weekend in the English Premier League, Antonio Conte is hopeful that Alvaro Morata did not suffer a severe injury.
The striker on the match that took place at Stamford Bridge was indeed a starter but in the middle of the second half the player can not continue the match and make it must be replaced by Willian.
While the only goal created into the goal nets Thibaut Courtois printed by Kevin De Bruyne who is a compatriot of the goalkeeper.
With the defeat at home then the Blues are still stuck in third place standings and make them fail to stick tight points that are owned by Manchester duo both United and The Citizens who both have 19 points.
Although slightly unhappy with the outcome but the 48-year-old Italian coach remains satisfied with the appearance of foster children who still provide resistance throughout the game.
“It’s very difficult but we know very well that Manchester City is a big team and it is very difficult to play in a match like this,” Antonio Conte told the media.
“I think we have given everything today and I am happy with the commitments and desires shown by the players. They have the will to win against a very strong team.
“In a match like this is always must have enough rest, if you feel tired then it will not be easy to run towards the opponent’s penalty box. Today we were able to create chances but we did not get them. Manchester City have chances and they managed to score goals.
“It’s of course logical that if you play in three matches in seven days, you will get into trouble. I hope this is not a serious injury to Morata.
“This is a hamstring injury but we do not know if this is a serious problem or not. We will look at the next game, we will rest and I am proud to be the coach of these players. “
